Tara DiRocco

Tara previously worked for the Energy and Biosciences Institute at UC Berkeley studying carbon dynamics in regenerating forests and biofuel plantations. She worked on multiple fieldwork teams in the tropical forest landscapes of Malaysia, Brazil, Panama, and Costa Rica studying agroforestry, forest regeneration, biodiversity, and landscape dynamics. Tara  also worked with non-profits focused on urban agriculture and organic gardening education, including helping to build the first urban farm in Bridgeport, CT. Her interests include mycoremediation, urban farming, agroforestry, and food as medicine.
