Food Geeks Travel: Italy

We are taking a week long trip to Italy for the opening week of Food EXPO Milan 2015. This year’s theme is “Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life”, encouraging a platform for the exchange of ideas and shared solutions around food. Over 140 countries will showcase premier technologies geared towards ensuring healthy, safe, and sufficient food for all over 1.1 million square meters of exhibition area.

The Food Innovation Program is a first of its kind experience that aims to bring together the top minds in the world of Food Innovation with an international mix of exceptional students within a “food laboratory” space. It is the unique collaboration between Institute of the Future from Palo Alto, Future Food Institute based in Bologna, the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia and the City of Reggio Emilia, Italy.
