Mixing Bowl and the recently established Innovation Institute for Food & Health at UC Davis worked together to crowdsource input from a broad community of participants to help define the challenging topics the Institute should undertake in the coming years.

Challenge Definition Workshop insights were solicited from academic, industry, government and community participants in an “out of the box” format to identify and define the pressing problems within the Innovation Institute’s purview of food and nutritional security. The insights from this event will inform the Institute’s upcoming “call for innovation” in early 2016 that will seek to identify and fund uncommon collaborations to generate real-world solutions.
