FORBES MIXING BOWL NYC 2018
March 22, 2018 @ 9:00 am - 5:00 pm EDT
“The Full Stack”, a New York Discussion
Please join us on March 22, 2018 at Forbes on Fifth in NYC, to geek out with fellow Food, Ag and IT innovators in a targeted discussion on the ingredients and recipes needed to augment the development of digital food and agriculture.
The Mixing Bowl’s annual NYC event with Forbes brings together food and ag thought leaders, start-ups, key industry players, investors and representatives from leading global food and agriculture innovation hubs in order to discuss Food & AgTech challenges and solutions in an innovative and interactive forum. Rather than explore the potential “future” of the food system, we want to focus on the “now” and the “how” of the application of information technology to Food and Ag.
This year’s event will focus on the full stack. And no, this doesn’t mean we will spend the afternoon talking about pancakes. Rather we will be discussing the full stack digital development of the Food & Ag industry. As tech participants know, the tech sector has long used various schema of layers to help define the necessary components of a “full stack solution” to bring to market. Often illustrated like a multi-layered cake, these layers may refer to elements like physical transport, data linking, security, applications, user interface and user experience (UI/UE).
Thus, with a distinctly NYC perspective, “The Full Stack” forum will identify meaningful opportunities and short-term “sprint” developments which address challenges in adoption, implementation and engagement across the digitally-enabled food and agriculture landscape.
